I like the knife as a whole. the blade is very thick and the handle is very sturdy. The mechanism which keeps it open or close is strong so once it is either shut or open there isn’t much fear it will switch the other way.
I was a bit foolish in not noticing the sizing which is clearly marked so don’t forget to check that.
And also I had to wipe the knife down a lot before handling it because it had a lot of oil on it. I believe that was intended to protect it; However if you are giving this as a gift, I would recommend fully opening and cleaning it as it is not ready for use right out of the package.

Incredible value for the price. I am simply amazed at the quality of this knife, given its price point. And it is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The knife has a slipjoint locking mechanism with a very deep tang notch. The depth of this notch means it takes extra effort to close the knife. This is not a fault, just a characteristic that you should be aware of.
